Dr. Doug McIntosh has served Cornerstone Bible Church since its beginnings in 1971. Doug and Tim Crater, a fellow 1971 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, moved to Atlanta that year and began teaching the home Bible studies from which CBC was formed.

    Doug's primary ministry is teaching and preaching. In addition to his ministry at CBC, Doug served for nine years as a member of the Board of Directors of Wycliffe Bible Translators USA as well as on the faculties of Carver Bible Institute and College and the Atlanta extension work of Columbia Bible College and Seminary. He also pursues a writing ministry. In addition to providing commentaries for CBC's mid-week studies, he has written curriculum material for Community Bible Studies, an international ministry. He has also published a number of books through Moody Press and Broadman & Holman.  Doug earned his Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

    Doug and his wife, Cheryl, live in Lilburn and have three grown children: Tim, Carissa and Scott.



    Peter joined the CBC pastoral staff in 2014. Graduating from Talbot Seminary in 2011 with his Master of Divinity (MDiv), he moved from California to join our thriving and biblically based church. He is passionate about preaching, teaching, and evangelism.

    Peter oversees the Young Adult and Young Married at CBC. Most of the week you will find Peter preparing a Bible lesson or sermon, planning group activities, and meeting with people.

    Currently, Peter is transitioning into the role of Senior Pastor over the next year (Aug 17 - Aug 18).

    Peter lives in Lilburn with his wife, Cami. They have two children: Logan and Chase.



    As the son of CBC members, Jack and Linda Suter, Kent grew up in CBC. After graduating from Providence Christian Academy in 1998, Kent went on to earn a double degree in Bible and Christian Education/Youth Ministry from Bryan College in 2002. Then in 2008 he earned his Master's in Christian Apologetics (M.A.A.) from Southern Evangelical Seminary under the leadership of apologist, Dr. Norman Geisler.

    Since coming on staff in 2005, Kent's primary ministry is to the youth at CBC (middle and high school).  You can find Kent most of the weeks engaging the youth with relevant, deep Bible teaching as well as thriving times of fellowship and outreach to the community.     Kent lives in Lilburn with his wife, Brook. They have four children: Lilley, Maggie, Jack and Ezra.

    Debra Sanders

    Debra joined the CBC staff in 2016. She is passionate about teaching God's word to our children from their head to their heart to their feet. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economic Education from the University of Georgia.  She taught Home Ec. & English in the public schools and homeschooled her children for 15 years.

    Debra oversees cbcKidz (Children's Ministry) and VBS at CBC. Most of the week you will find Debra preparing for the Sunday School classes or dreaming about making our cbcKidz even better.

    Debra lives in Stone Mountain with her husband, Leavitt. They have five grown children and eight grandchildren.

  • CHURCH administrator

    Lee Tate

    Lee assumed responsibilities as CBC Administrator in 2015. He has been a church member and also an Elder for many years. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and graduated from Ole Miss with a BS in Engineering and a Masters in City Planning. 

    Lee oversees the administrative activities of CBC and meets with the pastoral staff to review building, personnel, and other ministry issues needed to help them complete CBC’s mission. He is responsible for financial planning and budgeting, and reviews those aspects with the Elders. 

    Lee lives in Snellville with his wife, Sarah, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. They have two children: David and Susan (Coffee) and six grandchildren. 



    Kay has worked as an administrative assistant at CBC since 1994. A skilled desktop publisher, Kay creates the Sunday bulletin and other church publications. In addition, she provides ongoing support for the pastoral staff and “other duties as assigned". The “unofficial” church photographer, Kay is often seen snapping photos at church events. “I love being involved in a ministry on a day-to-day basis,” says Kay. 



    Jill has been attending CBC since 1983. After finishing college, Jill was a 6th grade teacher in Gwinnett County for ten years. In 2006, she joined the church staff in an administrative role. Her duties are primarily focused on maintaining the churches day to day financial records and assisting the pastoral staff. Jill comes from a large family and enjoys spending time together whenever possible.

  • Church Volunteer

    Lois Donmoyer

    Lois volunteers in the office helping with various tasks such as attendance, database, and mailings.  After serving as a missionary in Peru 21 years and Wycliffe Bible Translators southern regional office for another 20 years, she continues to serve God faithfully at CBC.  She and her husband, Boyden, joined our Fellowship in 1995. They have two grown daughters, two grown grand-daughters, and one great grandson.
