 ng October 4\, pick up a shoebox in the church foyer\, fill it with gifts\
 , and return the completed box to Cornerstone Bible Church by November 15.
 \nOperation Christmas Child uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God
 ’s love in a tangible way and provide opportunities for local churches a
 round the world to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with children and t
 heir families. Since 1993\, more than 244 million shoebox gifts have been 
 delivered to children in more than 175 countries and territories.\nWhen pa
 cking your box\, choose gifts for a boy or girl in one of three age groups
 : 2–4\, 5–9\, or 10–14. Fill the box with a special “wow” item a
 long with toys\, school supplies\, and personal care items. You can also i
 nclude a personal note or photo\, and most importantly\, pray for the chil
 d who will receive your gift. Samaritan’s Purse suggests a $10 donation 
 per shoebox to help cover collection\, processing\, shipping\, and ministr
 y costs.\nAfter shoeboxes are distributed\, many children are invited to p
 articipate in The Greatest Journey\, a 12-lesson discipleship program that
  helps them learn more about Jesus\, grow in their faith\, and share what 
 they learn with others.\nPlease return your completed shoebox to Cornersto
 ne Bible Church so we can send these gifts together and help share the lov
 e and hope of Jesus Christ with children around the world.
